Maybe a Foot Rest? Maybe a Plant Stand? Awaiting to find out what flavour the Boss wants this little project..

4 Pieces of Scrap Pine…..one to make the legs, two to make the top…after cutting out the defects, and then gluing the leftovers back together….keeping an eye on the grain match-up. The fourth was a 1×4….for the strecther.

Had a leftover stick of Walnut….made the wedges from that…...four days in the shop….couple hours each day.

Will update, once a finish has been decided on.

Stands 8” tall, 11-3/4” long, by 8-5/8” wide…..cute little bugger?

That’s a nice stool sample, Bandit. Nice design too.

Might be a little bugger but it is sturdy and well built. Nice job !!

Looks like it would withstand some weight, always a good trait in a stool.

Bandit it’s too darn hot to be out in the shop more than a couple hours at a crack. I fell out today, had to retire to the AC.

Nice style and a great job on it. I could see me sitting back and resting my feet on it for the afternoon.

Nice looking stool, Bandit! I’m sure you or the Boss will find a good use for it!

A Finish has been started…

A “Golden Pecan” stain…
A coat of Amber Shellac, after the stain was dry.

Tomorrow, a coat of Clear Gloss Poly will go on, and later, be rubbed out.

Will post a couple pictures when done.

As promised..

An end view…

From the side, and…

The all important top. Almost a “Pumpkin Pine” finish?

Looks good finished.

A top 3 isn’t bad either.
