My daughter asked me to build her a mid-century modern nightstand. Here is what we came up with. It is built from 3/4” plywood and I used pine for the edge banding and the legs. This is the first time I have built a cabinet this big with 45 degree angles for the corners. I was pleased with the results. Stain is walnut with 4 coats of satin poly.

Nice work Jeff. You have your pine punching well above it’s weight. You’ve finished it well and have a beautiful table.

Great job!

Love Mid-Century modern furniture.

Measurements or plans?

Thanks for all the kind comments!

aquariumguy,
I do not have plans. My daughter found a couple of pictures that each had something she liked. I combined the two and just started building from the pictures.
