I was given some barn wood awhile back and was trying to come up with a project for it when one of my cowboy friends suggested this. I pressure washed the wood and then sanded it down enough so no one would get splinters but I wanted to leave the wood looking rough then I branded it with several friends brands and used some urethane clear coat for protection as it will be an outdoor bench. I now have requests to build several more of them

Very cool and interesting project with metal and wood combination. I would kill for some old barn boards.

Very neat!

I like the scrollsaw work too.

The horseshoes are also a nice touch, but where do you get them?

Now that is something you don’t see everyday, nice witty project. It would be a big hit with Horse, or Horseshoe playing people.

Thanks for posting it for us to see.
