My first attempt at making a candy dispenser just from watching Tony C. Youtube slideshow. Haven’t quite figured out how to drill the hole in the slide at an angle and for some reason my top and buttom octagons angles kept coming up off. Didn’t turn out to bad just going off a slideshow.

I do have a press and I made a little slope to set my slide on just didn’t know where to actually start drilling and where to stop.

Nice work on you candy dispensers Rednec.
Sorry I don’t have any plans for my version of dispensers. I only have plans for the one that got me started. You’ll seed them in my Flickr photos.
Here’s a link to a bunch of my reference photos that I use that may help you. I made a jig that sits on my drill press to drill the hole @ a 45 degree angle. I don’t drill all the way through the slider (see my Flickr Photos).
(GR8HUNTER) Tony is right on…
If you lay out a blank slider in the body of your dispenser then put the top with the hole in it over the slider you can judge where you should start the 45 degree hole. Make the slider a little longer that way you can cut it to fit your dispenser later. Hope this helps!
