This is a built in wine cabinet I built for myself. On the other side of the wall is my kitchen. I have the cheap builders cabinets so I knocked a hole through into the unused space under the corner of my kitchen counter-top. I don’t think the wall is load bearing but I elected to treat it as one. I re-framed the studs and built the carcass of the cabinet out of finished plywood. The back panel is removable so I can get access to the wiring should I ever need to. i saw the drawers in an online catalog and liked them so I copied them. I added two LED puck lights connected through a pressure switch so they turn on when the door is opened. On the door I integrated a LED strip on the top and bottom of the glass panel. The LEDs produce very little heat so I feel they will be alright inside the frame. Thanks for looking.

Cool! Looked like a built in greenhouse at first glance. Great to use that dead corner cabinet space. Good Idea. Good work.

What a great idea, a mini cellar.
