Look this is just a simple painted wood screen door. I do not know why the picture went sideways. It is not that way on my computer. This door made my wife happy and serves a great purpose. It is a very serious heavy screen door because I used 5/4 decking boards to make it. Wife painted it and it is almost all made with wood that was just on hand or scrap wood. I cut down the original broken door and plastic inserts that hold the screen from a screen door thrown out on the side of the road and laid it onto my new door. Beth wanted a new spring and fancy handle on the inside but the outside handle is made from scrap wood as well. Beth had these fancy iron corner decorations as well. There is just under $10 invested into this new door. Anyways this is what we did this weekend. I have made a lot of doors. But this was my first screen door.

Nice work on that door. Better than you can buy!!..and you appreciate it more when you make it yourself!!

I just had the same problem you had with the orientation even after I rotated them. What I did ( and it worked) is to flip the photo so it looks right, then do a “save as” and give it another name and post that new name.

I thought I deleted that door I posted and now it is too late. I just tried that again with one of my other photos and it works great when I save it as another name and post it to my E mail, but when I try it on here is stays sideways. Maybe someone will have the answer for this site. i don’t think you can change the on here once downloaded.
