This is a my Excalibur Murphy bed with a Louisiana Flair. I added a Fleur De Lis to the top corners where I normally add a Rosette. This one completed in August 2010.
Wood type: Red Oak
Stain: Gunstock by Minwax
Finish: Medium Sheen Pre-Catalyzed Lacquer
This one did go to New Orleans, but it is not the first one I built using the Fleur De Lis:

I checked out the others you had made also…That is some great craftsmanship! The Fleur De Lis has always been a favorite icon of mine. Did you make the carving in house?
