This is just a simple end table I made for my moms birthday. Its red oak with walnut inlays on the top. The legs came from a 100+ year old barn my uncle demo’ed.

Michael, this is a nice looking table that I am sure your mom adores. The inlays and knots add quite a bit of visual appeal to the table’s appearance.

Nice. I like it. I am always looking for simple table ideas. I like the incorporation of reclaimed wood.

Beautiful! The inlays really add to the character of the piece. I think what really makes them stand out is that they stop at the routed edge, rather than running all the way through.

Was this your own design?

Yeah Rlindberry I set t he ogee bit so that the walnut inlays wouldnt show in the edge profile. Yes I did design that on my own, one of those projects that you really dont have a plan for just jot some measurements down and go with it.
