I’m relatively new to woodworking and LJs. I thought I would add a few of my projects from the last two years. Here is a recently completed project from a design in Popular Woodworking with a few minor adjustments. It’s made with big box store pine. The staining and finish turned out well – MinWax preconditioner left to dry, two coats of GF Shaker maple , followed by three coats of GF Arm R seal.

I like this bench! What are the dimensions?

Sweet bench. Sometimes pine can look pretty nice.

Simply elegant. It has a quiet boldness.

That’s a nice bench and you did a good job on it.
