This was a spur of the moment project. I had an extra sheet of 3/4 AC plywood in my garage that I wanted to get rid of because it was just taking up space so I started thinking of something I could build and came up with this.

The top, bottom and middle pieces are dadoed to accept the dividers and the end panels are glued and nailed with some brads. It’s overbuilt, the thing probably weighs 40 pounds, but I had time to kill so I used it to work on my dado skills on the RAS.

I’m happy with how it turned out. I was worried that I’d have fit issues with the low quality plywood but it wasn’t so bad. I really like it because it fits my shoes (size 13) and even small boots. All the stuff you can buy at the store has compartments that are either too narrow, too shallow, or both.
