Took a lot more hours than you would figure! Birch plywood, 3/4 inch, faced and trimmed with 3/4×3/4 inch Cherry. All cherry strips then rounded on both exposed sides with a 3/8 inch radius round-over router bit. Cubbys in the front for plastic bins full of building blocks and wooden trains and whatever else is usually n the floor underfoot. Outside dimensions are 43 inches by 26 inches by 24 inches tall. Will add casters when I can find some I like. Nearly two full sheets of plywood was used making the box plenty stout (and heavy)! Big enough for my grandson (3yo) but tall enough to keep the 1yo great grand-kids at bay I think (for a little while anyway). 3 coats of Poly for a finish. Ready to get loaded today, hope he enjoys it!

Looks great. Always good to have a place for the toys to go at the end of the night.
