Hello again everyone, Well I just completed my Sleigh Bed for my wife & I. It’s queen sized and made with Maple & Cherry. It took me one month to build. The finish is BLO & Wax. We can’t wait to start sleeping in it. I have to repaint the room before she will let me set it up in there. Lance

Beaurtiful bed! I also have a sleigh bed and you will really, really love it once it is set up in your bedroom. A sleigh bed makes a wonderful focal point in the room and steals the show…. well.. almost. ;) Have fun!

Hinge for what? There are no hinges in the bed.I did use the Hardware from Woodcraft to hold the rails to the head & foot board. They are just regular bed rail hardware.
