Time scoreboard

My daughter asked me to make a time scoreboard which see could write her fastest running time on. See came up with above idea. I made it from Red cedar and Meranti. The board itself is made out of baltic birch plywood. It’s about 30×40 cm. The Red cedar is easy to saw but in this workpiece it is very fragile. It is treated with a aerosol lacquer.

Thanks for watching.

Dutchy, does it work the same with daughters as wife; that is; happy wife happy life.
But then it’s always extra nice to something the children ask you for as they have truly started recognizing there dads talent.
Top job sir.

Nice one Dutchy... great to hear you have a good rapport with your daughter.

Mine did a similar a while back… except she asked me to do the running for her…. still working on the second 5 metres.

Really great idea! When your kids ask their Dad for something reasonable and helpful that is the first project we should do. If it were for me though, the blackboard portion of it should be wider to accommodate hours and days!!!!
Great job…...

That’s a cool idea!! I grew up running distance, ran at the National level and still run some ( not as competitively as I used to hah), I would have loved something to keep my times visible. You should consider doing one for goals as well, keeping goals visible and always on your mind can be very beneficial in running!

Nice one Dutchy. Obviously your daughter is quite a good runner judging by the times shown. I am a little intrigued about the distances, is the m for miles? Why would any one run miles in Europe?

Hope you’re not referring to soccer goals… 0 vs 0 is not hard to lose track of.
