Redwood bench

I built this redwood bench using stainless steel bolts and screws from a plan in a current Wood working magazine. I added one coat of Pennofin stain and three coats of spar varnish.

which type of penofin stain did you use ?

Jim:
I used a Pennofin “Redwood” stain in the blue can. However I did not care for the dull look of it so to add a bit of shine to the bench I put on 3 coats of gloss spar varnish.
