G’day mates,

Thought I share something I made that get used a lot. A pair of kids’ stools I made for my kids to wear and remove their shoes. In fact, my wife and I used them quite often ourselves.

Made from scrap from other projects. Dovetail constructions with hand tools.

Difference between the stools are the lower stretchers as you can see in the pictures. One has the stretchers by the arch, while the other has the stretchers on the side.

In hindsight, blind dovetails for the stretchers would have looked better.

I think I stained it Walnut but did not turn out too well.

Solid, sturdy, well built… nice job Gunn. Showing off the hand done joinery on simple projects like this really makes them special. Thanks for all the pics!

Precisely the types of joinery dovetails were meant for. Good work.
