Simple and quick book case – extra time in finishing – sanding to 600 grit and buffing out.

Nice work. Are the shelves plywood with edge band or solid wood?

The book case is solid wood except for the back. It is good quality 1/4” red oak plywood. The shelves have a 1” band for added support.

Nice bookcase! Looks like it will hold some heavy books without the shelves sagging too.
