My in laws needed a small stand to put their tv box and DVD player, its been sitting on a cardboard box for over a year now… they couldn’t find anything they liked in the size they wanted so I finally got around to draw something up that they liked…unfortunately with work, a two year old and a masters program it’s taken a while to get it done… here we are 4 months later and I got around to making it. Will get a dark walnut stain with semi gloss poly to match some floating shelves and the mantle I made them when they moved into their new house. I also recessed adjustable feet into the oak feet to level the cabinet on their slightly out of level floor (more or less to try something new not a necessity)

Disclaimer I have no idea why every picture I upload from my new phone is rotated, they are not this orientation on my phone…

Looks good, even sideways! I’ve been meaning to make one of these myself. I can find anything that would be the right size for my receiver, so I just need to make one!

Woodworking has turned out to be a great hobby that can score one a lot of points for people. Recently my sister-in-law was complaining about the saloon-style cabinet doors on her new conbo medicine cabinets. She was going to buy all new cabinets, but I just whipped up some new doors from scrap laying around.
