The title says it all.

Here the challenge was to make simple rectangles look cool.

The second picture shows the inside of one before I put on the bottom and seat top, showing the interior frame. Pièce de restance: the legs go all the way up as part of the frame – I masked the “feet” (which are stained grey) before spray painting the white.

Credit YouTube for how to upholster the tops.

Oh, and I used piano hinges for the seats. They worked really well.

Okay, I’ll admit that I’m just a little bit too pleased with myself.

Nice work. Fits the decor perfectly. If I’m ever in W. Hollywood I’ll be sure to go in and put my butt on your work! :-)
