Well I’ve still not been able to get the barn up and running as a efficient woodworking shop, but it is sufficient for now LOL. So my projects have been more utilitarian then artistic (which is my favorite type of work) but at least I’m getting to cut and glue and hammer and and and .....

The bunny needed a home to stay warm in before winter hits so I went out to the barn and came out with this. The paint was left over from who knows when and it painted the chicken coop that I haven’t got done yet either LOL. The last pic is of that, when I get the shingles done for this I’ll get the blog together on how it turns out.

I did use the krylon paint I found for plastic “UV protective” its seems ok but only time will tell.

So the construction is OSB with simple 2×2 blocking to hold it all together, ugly paint I found in the barn, and a shingle made from plastic shopping bags, Its about 14” high by 10” deep and 16” wide.

Let me know what ya think

The customer looks happy.

Will you be installing a separate heating system, or just running a duct from the main house? :-)

I hope your winters are mild. Getting it up off the ground will help, as will some bedding or nesting pads. Also, is there any protection for Snowball from predators?

He looks like a were-rabbit and can probably take care of himself… ;0) But seriously, up and locked in with the other critters sounds like a good suggestion. Like the color.

Thanks all..

charlie we have an outdoor firepit just 5-6 feet away I’m hoping he’ll get up and get that going for all of us to roast marshmallows when he gets too cold hee hee

schloemoe hmmm if I can convince the wife maybe we can all share

dyno360 Yup we are in star Idaho just outside of Boise and we are high desert here not too rough, plus he is under this big bush which is under a big tree which is next to a fence that blocks pretty much all the wind from coming in, Plus we put down some pine shavings for bedding, He lives in our fenced off yard with my dog and cat so he should be pretty safe.

jack1 hee hee actually we had a beagle when we first got the bunny and the beagle attacked him, that bunny pretty much knocked the snot out of beagle LOL

Thanks for the comments, talk to ya all soon..

Before I clicked on this project, and with that shadow on his nose, I thought for sure this was a possum! LOL!
