Japanese Inspired Tea Light Candle Holder

Made from a combination of some IPE deck wood and Swedish Pine and finished with BLO.
Dimensions: 45cm long by 12cm width by 8cm height.
Since I was on it I made 3 of those to give as gifts…
The Design is not mine I saw the image on google.
Hope you like it.

P.S. As my dear friend Klaus just informed me the original design is his and for sure credit mast be given to him for his project. You may find his original design at http://lumberjocks.com/projects/53148

Very Nice. Since Woodworking an income for me, I often do LONG, BIG builds with alot of Oak. My desire is to do shorter, smaller and shorter builds that are creative, functional and beautiful. This would definitely fit into those categories. Well done. Very nice lines and good contrast to the wood choices.

This project caught my eye right away. The contrasting wood is alway attractive and the interlacing of the wooden parts is also appealing to my eye. Simplicity plays a part as well. Nice project!
