This is an old book shelf that I refinished. It has been in my Moms office for about 20+ years and it had the worst plastic stick on sheet that did not even cover all of the wood plus it was pilling up in areas. the bottom shelf had considerable water damage and was to far gone so I just removed the bottom shelf completely, scraped all the plastic off ( which had a horrible odder), sanded and put the facing on the front to give it more appeal and stained it with an early American Min Wax finish. And so another project saved form the fire pit.

Never enough wooden spoons or bookshelves at my house. Excellent recovery and score!
