this project is made from mahogony and ebony it was a real hoot to build the hinges keep breaking so i had to modify the org. plans I’ll get some more pictures and post later

that mahogany is insane! did you sand it or hand plane it? if plane, using what type?

Beautiful chest. Why did your hinges keep braking. Did you make them from wood?

I use LN planes and mirka sandpaper Ha Ha as far as the hinges go yes i made them out of wood . I will get the owner to take the pictures of the hinges, there pretty cool wait till u see them.

Did you hug it? That’s what I felt like when I saw it. G & G furniture just does something to me. (must be something in my past, probably from a grandparent of mine)
