You got nothin' to thank me for buddy! These things are awesome and will be treasured as well as have the hell beat out of 'em for a long time to come. It's hard to imagine getting any 2 hammers that I could find more useful and that I don't already have! And the inlay makes me smile every time I see that sucker :)))

Love the initials in the head. Everything is joined perfectly. Get better Tony and relax a bit to recover.

Excellent mallets Tony. The finish work gave Kenny something to do besides sitting by the mailbox without his pants on. I'd like to hear more on how you made the ends on the small mallet, especially the brass end.

Fine projects, great story, proves that L-J is a community!

Just a side note-I see all these mallets too pretty to use. I make mine from firewood and use them-NOT PRETTY at all; actually UGLY! That way I do NOT MIND beating things with them when I need to.

I like 'em pretty ralbuck but make no mistake, these will get used just like any ugly beater in my shop ;-) If you ask me a tool that can't be used ain't much good!

That is a lot of mallet, nice wood combo, and the initials put it over the top.

I'll second that over the top comment. I might change my name and visit Kenny so that I can steal it from him. I am sure that I can distract him if I have beer with me.

For some reason, a lot of people that visit me and bring beer end up having to change their name for some reason…

The bigger the mistake, the bigger the mallet required to correct it. You sure know how to make for your audience. These are incredible.

Tony, those mallets were coming along beautifully. It's a sure bet you wish you were able to put the finishing touches on them.

Great job on both mallets and hope you have a speedy recovery so you can get back in the shop!
