Sharpening Jig

I downloaded the plans for this jig from the “I Build it” web page by John Heisz. It was very easy to build and works very well. Fits many size tool blades and easy to setup. I used cherry, maple and plywood scraps. Hardware is all 1/4” threaded bolts, knobs and redi-rod.

Looks fantastic, and if those chisels come out sharp and square, well, you win…...

I got to have me one of those. I have been using the jig with a roller/bearing along with wet/dry sand paper, but recently purchased several grits of diamond plate on ebay(cheap), I think the wheel/bearing will deteriorate so something like this will work, thank for sharing
