Workbench built for a friend ‘94.
Base is mortise & tenon fir attached to bamboo top & edge-banded in hickory.

I really like how this bench looks.

Is it prone to tipping at all if you weight too much towards the edge?

This was a lightweight workbench built for a dad & his 2 teenage boys to do hobby projects with. I don’t think this would work very well in the wood shop for more than an assembly table – it just isn’t heavy enough. I also messed up and didn’t make the base feet as wide as I should have. I got a great deal on a Zyliss style vise for these guys $20 new on closeout at Rockler’s.
