Since I did the Travel Mug for my wife, I have been wanting to do a mug for myself. Since I always have my Buba Keg with me, I thought I would attempt one of them.

8 piece staved walnut body with an 8 piece segmented base. Hand carved walnut handle.

Finish is 12 coats of Old Masters Tung Oil/Varnish. and 5 coats of wax. This should help it stand up to daily use.

Started with the 52oz Buba Keg. Removed the lower outside and replaced with walnut. Used the expanding foam insulation inside to help keep beverages cold.

Please feel free to leave ALL comments and suggestions. Thank You for looking.

Keep a close eye on this one! Someone will “accidentally” take it home with them. Neat idea!

This coffee mug would be stolen from the teacher’s lounge in a New York minute. No doubt. And I ain’t talkin about the students. ;)
