Delivered these babies today. I build a line of cedar Adirondacks as a side hustle.
I market as “Alabama Built from Alabama Eastern Cedar”, buyers seem to dig that!

Have a layout pattern for one, and you can make as many as you can afford wood for. Pretty easy builds, and always used to sell well. Yours look very nice, looks like they have that deep angle that sits so well. A person sits on them at a show, if they can’t get out of the chair they have to buy it :-)

Thanks for posting.

Very nice.

Check out one in my projects section that I built out of teak last year.

I got my plans from Rockler. I do not work for them and are not promoting it, but the plans and cardboard templates were cool.

I love the color of the cedar.

Very cool! Congrats.

Good looking projects. This type of chair was always uncomfortable for me. I never thought of the movable leg rest ( or whatever it is called ). I am going to build one for my chair as it looks very relaxing. Thanks, Mike.

Very nice looking chairs and foot rests.

I have avoided building those for myself because it takes so much space to store them in the winter. Here on the rainy side of Oregon if you don’t protect them in the rainy season they will have a good layer of moss on them by next summer. I say the rainy side of Oregon because often unrecognized fact is that the eastern 2/3rds of Oregon is dry high desert not rain forest.

Awesome. What are you using as a finish/sealer?

You sir are correct, cool story too.
Found a post on here from a gentleman wanting to unload his kit. Made an offer of what I found out to be a quarter of the kit. He accepted. I took a road trip, ended up in the country some miles south of Auburn Alabama. Nice as heck guy, said he was going to put the money in his church’s building fund!
Told my wife as I do with all tool purchases “in case I get laid off or disabled” Sure as I’m sitting here, got caught in a telecom layoff in January 2017! And with all job offers at about half to 2/3rds of previous I’m building! and having fun.

ps, your website link on here takes me to a Danish speaking shoe sales page!
