This is the most complicated box I’ve built so far, though not as complicated as some of our masters here.

My goal is to build and hopefully sell a dozen of them to fund a replacement motor for my PM 100 planer.

This one, though, my wife has claimed as her own. Coming from her, that’s high praise.

Cherry/walnut with blonde shellac and paste wax.

Outstanding keepsake box! Excellent design! Your wife is very smart claiming this gem!

Very nice Brad. I’ve always appreciated oriental elements in box design and was pleasantly surprised to see the legs standing off the side of the box.

Nicely done. I’ll bet this design will also look amazing with curly maple.

Brad, nice job. I like the design and the way the legs set off from the box. Wonder if you could figure a way to hinge your top? Rockler makes a wrap around piano hinge design that might work well. Good luck on your sales.
