I have been on a step stool kick for a bit now, and this is my latest. It is made of beetle kill pine and redwood, all dowels and glue. I am finding right now I want to highlight the wood and not do fancy cuts or joints.

I like the look of it.

I’d like to see how the legs attach.

The legs are cut on a 10degree angle with a spanner across. All are dowelled together and to the top.

Very artistic wood choices. I do agree the simplicity of the design works extremely well on this project.
