about the time you think youve seen everything at least once someone comes along and shatters your illusion !
every time these people call me to work on thier house i already know they want something weird . this is real bamboo logs split into i guess youd call crown moulding. i had to eyeball cope the corners best i could . since these people own the lumber yard where i buy all my material i kinda have to grin and bear it ! lol

As weir as you might think it, I love the looks of this bamboo crown molding. I’ll bet it was a lot of trouble getting the corners nice….they look good. Like grandpa used to say….. ” if everyone liked the same things, then everyone would be after grandma” LOL

The bamboo is definitely different and unique. Now, all you have to do is do the window molding in bamboo to match. Your corners look tight, nice job.

If it weren’t for customers like this, we’d have nobody to talk about! Nice work!

MrTrim i got five dollars that says these people keep Pythons as pets.
I know weird customers when i see em…. I just hope they don’t have a pet Panda Bear to eat your crown mould!

Well that is a first for me – I’ve never seen bamboo crown before. I actually like it – bet it was tough getting that perfect fit. Nice job.

I love it too!
We have a converted garage that we are decorating as our “Caribbean Room”. I may have to do this for the crown there too!
Thanks for sharing.

well now, I would say that qualifies as “outside the box” you definitely get kudo’s for making it work. Coping the corners looks like the easy part, how’d you cut the shoots so the width’s all matched?
-- I've cut that board three times and it's still too short!
