I wanted to modify my Rigid TS3650 that I have forever, and never found anything that I liked until recently. This is my ugly version of one I found on youtube. That one was actually planned out with Sketchup. I decided to wing it…

I built as I went so I don’t remember the exact measurements.

It extends the wing to the right of the blade to 50”. It was built out of 2×4 and 3/4” Plywood. The wing is made so that I can remove it and replace it if needed. I mounted my router to under the wing, and the casters make it easier to move around than the original Hercu-lift base.

Next up is to build a proper router fence with dust collection, and fix the storage.

Nice looking mod. Good job on making it mobile. Search on LJ’s for TS builds and get ideas for your storage. Lots of good stuff has been posted.
