Just regular and simple sand box 180×180x25cm, made of 22mm thick old and dirty firwood boards, coloured with 2 layers of different coloured stains. I put squared sticks in corners and in the middle with spikes to prevent sand to spread frame (sticks are screwed and glued). Frames are fastened with 10mm threaded screws and nuts from inside, thru corner sticks. Letters are 3mm beech playwood scrolled, glued and stapled. Corner top boards are just srewed and stained transparent.
It was birthday present to a kid.

Very nice looking Sand Box Ivan. The color’s give it a playful look. I just hope the neighborhood cats don’t find it.

When I was a kid I spent many hours in my sand box, all my Star Wars figures got bleached out and wrecked, but I had fun.

Great way to use salvaged lumber and I really like the way you personalized the project!
