We needed a new cat tower since the move but the one we saw at the retail stores were just too big of footprint. After researching and borrowing many ideas off the web, we came up with this one for our three cats. Thanks for look

I really like that and I’ll bet all of our cats would as well. How tall did you build it? It must have taken some time to wind the rope around the pole. Did you glue it to the pole? And what did you use for the pole? Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks for the look and comments.

woodbutcherbynight, that is a great pic!

Larry, It is 72 inches tall and shelves 12”. I used 4” pvc cut down to 68” and it took about 275 ft of 1/4” sisal rope. I used hot glue gun by laying a strip as I went…took few hours to wrap. Enjoy making it, your cats will love it.

OK – nice build but where’s the pics of the cats inspecting it ? Here in Ohio it’s a state law that cats inspect all new furniture brought into the home

Thanks Dick. In the spirit of Buckeye Nation, I changed out the sideways pic to one of inspection. One of the twins have taken claim up at top already
