We home school our kids and needed something for the whiteboard. This was a fun weekend project out of some scrap 2X4’s lying in the yard planed into 1 inch stock. Carving is “borrowed” from something I saw on the Village Carpenter blog.

An easel for a homeschooling family serves mulitiple purposes. Perhaps the most important is that the students- your children are home to see (and very often help) their most important teacher create something useful. :)
