Nice work. That yellow pine looks to have been difficult to carve, the softer earlywood appears to take the knife better than the latewood.

Thanks, Tom. You are correct… I was difficult trying to maintain an even depth. Perhaps one reason we do not see a lot of carving in yellow pine… LOL!

This is a beautiful carving bench. It’s very solid and good an heavy.
