This shadowbox was for a Lance Corporal that lost his arms in Vietnam. Unfortunatly his career in the military was cut short. When I get the insides for it and fill this display, I’ll add more pictures. This case is built out of solid Oak, it proudly displays a 3’x5’ US flag. Thanks for looking. Enjoy! If you have any questions about this design or any of my displays, please feel free to e-mail me!

Great job for a just and worthy cause. I’m sure he’ll more than appreciate what you’ve done for him. Those men are dieing off at a fast rate every day now in their 70’s and 80’s. Good for you.

I really like the design – so much better than the usual flag boxes.

My question is….and I am not trying to be critical.
Are you sure it was WWII? The rank of Lance Corporal wasn’t formerly introduced until 1958.

Anyway…it is an outstanding piece of work. How big is it? How long did it take?

I’ll double check the facts, thanks. I glanced over his DD214 but not real in depth.

Gem of a piece of woodworking AAW. Really like the detail of the grain following the shape. Makes the piece. Outstanding and thanks for the post!
