This is similar to the bench I posted 2 days ago with the following exceptions.

No wheels
Top is 86” long.
Top is 3 layers of MDF. Total 2 1/4” thick,

My buddy Dale just moved into a new house and has started out-fitting his new shop. Since he has so little time and I have a lot of it these days, I got him started off in the right direction.

This bad boy is very heavy. He can saw and hand plane to his hearts content. No movement like the wheel version.

Still need to add a bench vise and a finish.

I recommend just waxing the top with butcher’s wax. glue won’t stick to it…
