The Rocky Mountain Marquetry Guild is having its annual show in Longmont Colorado during the month of August and this is one of my entries into the show. My attempt at doing an animal. It is not one of my best pieces but will put it in the show anyway. Getting the right grain in the wood to look right was more difficult than I expected. A good learning piece. Comments and suggestions welcomed.

That is a beauty. I hope to attempt some of that this year. If I can get that good I will be a happy camper…

It looks amazing to me John. I don’t know how you do it. It’s also framed beautifully. Good luck in the show!
