I needed an extra work bench when I saw this on kregjig.com. It looked simple enough and cheap. So I made this in about 5 hrs. And I wired it so I can plug the table into the wall and I have 4 outlets on the table itself. So far I really like it. Strong, sturdy, cheap, and easy. Everything I want out of a work bench.

This was one of the first things I built maybe 9-months ago now after getting into woodworking.
It’s a good size… not too big and not too small.
I also put 2-layers of 3/4”MDF on the top and would advise others thinking about building it to do the same, just as you’ve done here. I did not glue them together though, figuring that if I just screwed them together from below that I could change out the top layer of MDF rather easily.
I like your addition of power. Mine is not wired-up.

It’s looking good. Any extra work space is a plus.
