I have made several slimline pens but my wife wanted a fatter pen. She also wanted me to make her one out of the cedar that I made her blanket chest out of. All in all, it turned out pretty good. I sealed it with 2 coats of CA glue and then a couple coats of wax.

This is called classic rollerball pen. I was planning to get the cigar pen but they were out so I went with this.

Whoa, any stain on this one or is it the natural color of your red cedar? never saw one so pink before o_o

Looks great! When I turn cedar pens I save the shaving, Ihave a waiting list from people who want the shavings. Noe I need to work on a waiting list of people who want to buy the pens.

This is a great looking Classic Roller Ball, I enjoy turning pens but have never turned one of these. Very Nice indeed!!

kind of funny on the timing—-after a gazillion slimlines I made my first ever non slim line…I made a European Pen style and it turned out great…will post soon…
