My daughter wanted a new bed because her room was too small for a playroom and bedroom. So, I built this. It is 2×6s and lag bolts mostly. The cabinets are half inch plywood with corner trim. The tv/drawers/bookcase/hiding room all fit snugly under the stairs. and it has cobalt rope lighting under the bed. The railings at the top(not pictured) bolt on to the vertical supports. Simple bed and she liked it.

Wow! It comes with an entertainment center too! Actually, that’s a great storage idea for a small room, and she looks quite happy with the results.

I’ve seen the “underneath” used in a lot of ways. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the space under the stairs used like this. Cool
