Now that this is done, sit back and have a cuppa coffee! You earned it!

No break for me Bearpie! I’ll be starting a Rocking Horse Chair tomorrow if nothing goes wrong. It’s a rocker for infant children.
The coffee stays on all day every day though. Two things that stay on in my shop is the coffee pot and the tunes. If the coffee aint brewing, I aint working.

It looks exceptional. I let mini-me see it and she had the most astonished look I’ve seen on her face ever. I think she’ll need a diaper change after she sees it up close…...

You paint pretty darn good for someone who doesn’t like to!! It is just incredible! I am with you on the music (and coffee too – but mostly before 3pm!) Gotta have my ‘tunes!’

Wonderful work! Sheila

I believe one of my grandfathers fostered my hatred for painting. He painted for the Illinois Central Railroad for over forty years. On weekends, I helped him on his housepainting jobs. He pushed me hard at a young age, determined to make a house painter out of me. I hated painting then, and I hate it now. What I would give to have him here with us so I could help him on a house now though.
The only time I enjoy painting now is if I put on some south Lousiana zydeco on the stereo and imagine my grandpa’s broken french/english talking to me.
