This is my first mallet. I watched a few videos online and decided to give it a go. I’m quite happy with the results and really enjoyed the process. It’s made up of scrap pieces of maple and walnut I had laying around the shop.

Way pretty!!! But would hate to bugger it up hitting something so go ahead and hit something and bugger it up, or you’ll never use it. LOL

It came out great. Very nice detail with the wedges.

Great job. Something to be proud of. I just finished my first Chisel handles on a lathe. It feels great to try new things. Well done.

Great mallet, you will use this often and it will be around a long time

-- Norman - I never never make a mistake, I just change the design.
