Just strung up the next “tenor” banjolele; all walnut with a maple lamination in the neck. This one has a 10 inch diameter head and a 17 scale length (i.e. the length of the string from the nut to the bridge). The pictures show this banjolele next to the last one posted which has an 8” diameter head; both have a 17 Inch scale length. Standard head sizes for banjos are 8”, 11” and 12”. Couldn’t find a 10 inch tension ring anywhere online so I modified an 11 inch ring to fit. The soldered splice is conveniently hidden behind the tail piece.

I love banjos! and just the name banjolele got my attention. Nice work. Got any videos of them being played?
