Project Information

Tree of Life in English Oak.
Been out the picture for a while with a relocation and change of life style.
I left crazy London and headed for the quiet life.
I now get more time to feed my passion.
This project is a mix of scrollsaw dremel chisels and detail sander . I routered a keyhole slot on the rear side for simple hanging.
Finished off with steel wool and Lemon Oil.

A beautiful piece, Bazz! Your carving really brings it to a higher level. Glad to hear you are getting more play time!

Thank you . Ive been doing a fair bit of wood work plus relocating 250 miles north . Its been quite a challenge leaving secure employment and heading for the hills.

I understand about the long move . . . . my latest relocation was about 3,700km. Makes it difficult to visit the old friends. ;)

relocation just 250 miles but its like another world So wish this had been possible much earlier.
My general health is much better and and have local beach's to walk every week which is real good for my head.
The stress of living in Greater London was whey to much and I will never return.
Glad you like my Tree of Life to be honest I did not quite turn out as I hoped but my family seem to like it.

Thanks not gone far but last 12 months have been pretty full on with changing life style plus relocating and semi retirement . I am now 58 and will not receive a pension for another 9 years so I will have to seriously concentrate on improving my skills.
