This pen is a Celtic Knot pen made from black acrylic and has an aluminum knot. Again a little segmenting. Thanks for looking.

OMG, that’s something. Did you use pop can aluminum? Please add a photo showing the side opposite the clip. I’m watching and waiting.

I would need to take one Mark. I can do that this week. No pop can. That is approximately 1/16” thick aluminum. I get it from Home Depot. That pattern repeats 4 times around the pen.

Thanks, John. Excellent. I’ve never yet made a pen, but you’re inspiring me.

John, that is another great design. What did you glue the aluminum in with?

Cheers, Jim

they are great! are the rings at 30 degrees, or something else? I really like the aspect ratio of the celtic ring.

Thanks Jim. I always use epoxy when using aluminum or acrylics for segmenting. In this case I added a drop of black paint to it in case there was any flaws but it came out quite well.

Thanks, John.
I like to spritz the epoxy with black spray paint to turn it black, too.

Cheers, Jim
