Hi All:

My names Art and I joined the site today. I’m located in north east Connecticut. I’ve been scrollen about six years. Over the last year I’ve been designing my own scroll saw patterns. I got the protrait “bug” and have been cutting designs of anything that sparks my interest. The Mona Lisa is my latest attempt. The design was based on one of Leonardo da Vinci’s well known paintings. I create my patterns using Gimp and Inkscape (free) vector graphics editing software.
I’m not quite sure of where to post scroll saw related topics. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Art

Nice likeness!

As far as where to post topics related to scrolling, Probably in the Woodworking Skill Share forum. Most of us view all the forums together, I think, so it doesn’t really matter that much.

Thanks All!

I’m working on more patterns based on da’ Vinci’s paintings. Annual craft fair coming up in town in about a week. Hoping to make some money towards a new Excaliber scroll saw.
