Cherry Burl Bowl

This gorgeous piece of wood was given to me by a friend. It is cherry burl and measures 12 1/2” dia. 5” high with a 3/8” thickness. It is finished with wipe on poly. Thanks for looking. Lou

Don’t find many cuts of wood like this. I would be a little scared of turning this with the chance of blowing up? Courageous and wonderful…...

The wood is gorgous, the finish is outstanding and do I see a inlay?? The entire package is beautiful.
