A friend wanted a dog ramp for her baby. A quick computer search brought up lots of large and cumbersome designs that cost a lot and are not very light. This is what I came up with. It is 2 torsion boxes connected with a couple of door hinges and a third section using 100 lb. extension slides. This provides a ramp about 6 feet in length and has a 24 inch foot print. As a wood working project is not very pretty but is effective at getting a sick dog in an SUV.

Now that is ingenuity! Nicely done and EZ on the owner too.
