Granddaughters high school graduation is quickly approaching, go to the private stash and pick out the black locust burl and some flaming box elder, throw it in a pile and add some glue and poly… Um, add a ‘lil bling and stir again… Better make that 3 coats of poly cuz it’s really special. I’m not sure what it is but I’ll throw in a kiss and I think she’ll like it… Whew… I hope…..

Bill, there was a lot that went to firewood in making this project, I’ll try to burn it safely…..

Nice looking wood. We have Black Locust back by the barn, may try to use it sometime. Still have some ash trees that need cut down. Have some drying now. Need any Marty?

Marty, that is a beautiful burl. The turning and the stand have great color too. The finish is well done. I liked the lettering and the bling. You don’t see a candy grabber like this every day. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
